You don’t need one, but we’d recommend a brief skin consultation before your first facial, as this allows our skin therapists to analyse your skin type, discuss your main goals (such as anti-ageing, acne clearance, or deep hydration), and customise the treatment and products specifically for your skin.
For optimal skin health, getting a facial every 4 to 6 weeks is recommended. This aligns with your skin’s natural cellular turnover cycle (about 28–30 days). However, if you are addressing specific concerns like active acne or hyperpigmentation, an initial course of treatments spaced 2 to 3 weeks apart may be recommended.
