We are looking to recruit a Sous Chef to join our team at Bicester Hotel Golf and Spa on a full time basis working 45 hours per week, supporting the kitchen in all areas of our operation including restaurant and bar food, conferences, weddings and afternoon tea. The ideal candidate is a capable chef who can work well under pressure and as part of a team. We are looking for an ambitious chef with excellent cooking and management skills. This might be your first Sous Chef role. Training and developing you will be paramount to deliver the culinary vision. Kitchen management and hygiene must be as important as the food on the plate, this is an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate.
You will be working 5 out of 7 days per week and rotas include regular evening and weekend work.
Set in 134 acres of stunning Oxfordshire countryside, our site is surrounded by an 18 hole golf course with 11 lakes. The hotel offers 52 rooms, 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 24h room service, 7 function rooms, a Spa, a health club with gym, tennis courts and indoor swimming pool. We are currently building a new High-Performance gym, climbing wall, assault course, and swimming lake.
