A word from
the Men's Captain
I am proud to be this year's men's captain at Bicester Golf Club. An exciting year lies ahead. With all the changes and the course now in such superb condition we can look forward to all the great days to come. With so many 'long serving' and new members there is definitely a buzz about the club. My ethos for the year is that we all have fun and enjoy good times together both on the course and in the 19th hole! I am pleased to have Linda Ryder and Stewart Church with me as Ladies and Senior's captains respectively.
My chosen charity for the year is The National Memorial Arboretum; a spiritually uplifting place which honours the fallen. My aim is to make people aware of the Memorial and raise much needed funds for this charity to continue to provide a place to remember those that we have lost. If anyone would like more information with regard to the charity or anything regarding golf at Bicester, please do not hesitate to contact me at the club. I look forward to joining you all in, what I hope will be, a great year ahead.
Happy golfing.

Lady Captain
A word from
the Lady Captain
It is a privilege to be this years' Lady Captain for the 2011/12 season and I am looking forward with pride and excitement to the year ahead.
Thank you to our outgoing Lady Captain Janet Moran for providing us with such an enjoyable season last year. Her support and encouragement is very much appreciated.
I have set myself a mission throughout my year to encourage and support as many lady members as possible to join in and participate in the range of events scheduled.
The fairways and greens are in excellent condition and I am sure, will help inspire exciting and memorable golf for all.
I have chosen throughout my year of office to support the Crohns and Colitis Charity. They carry out sterling work and are a charity close to my heart that I have great respect for. Please do ask me, if you would like to know more.I would like to thank the ladies of the committee, they carry out a considerable amount of work, giving their time freely and are doing a sterling job.
Finally, I wish my fellow Captains, for the men and the seniors, a good year in office and for all of you a happy year of golfing. Enjoy!
Linda Ryder
